LOCATION

On the southern coast of Sicily, about 50 km from the Valley of the Temples, Serenusa Village overlooks the sea, which is about 300 metres away. The village is set in a land rich in history, art, fragrances and flavours resulting from the varied food and wine tradition.

Hotel

Serenusa Village is located on a natural terrace, 15 metres above sea level. It is a 4-star village consisting of several buildings; it has numerous facilities and offers a rich entertainment programme suitable for all age groups.

Rooms

Serenusa Village has 494 rooms renovated in 2023, located in two- or three-storey buildings, on average 300 m from the sea. They are divided into Classic, Superior, Family, Premium and connecting rooms. The rooms on the ground floor have a garden, those on the first and second floors a balcony. Rooms for the disabled are available on request. From summer 2024, all rooms offer completely renovated bathrooms. 

Dog Room: Dog rooms are available on request, where small dogs of up to 10 kg are allowed. Accommodation in a Classic room with a kennel and bowl. Limited availability, to be booked.

Beach

The Serenusa Resort's large, private, sandy beach is equipped with every comfort, with facilities that were completely renovated in 2023: reserved beach umbrellas - larger and equipped with a safe in the first three rows, standard umbrellas in the other rows - all with two sun loungers, changing rooms and showers, bar and information desk.

It is about 300 m from the rooms and can be reached by a flight of steps or a paved path about 180 m long, with a gradient of no more than 6%. Sailing and windsurfing boats (except during course times), canoes, pedal boats, paddle surfing, beach tennis, beach volleyball and Bluserena SeaSport services (some for a fee) are available to guests. The sea, with its sandy seabed, in the area closest to the shoreline is suitable for children's bathing. The characteristics of the seabed may vary over time. The resort is barrier-free. A JOB chair is available on the beach for bathing in the sea and wheelchairs can be hired on request. No individual accompanying services are provided. Lifeguard assistance is guaranteed by the presence of lifeguards at the times displayed.

Animation, always present and never intrusive, will offer daily: Tai chi Stretch (new 2024), sailing and windsurfing courses (group), water aerobics, sports tournaments, group dancing.

Bluwellness is the area dedicated to those on holiday who want to treat themselves to a break dedicated to relaxation and wellness. The Serenusa Resort offers facial and body treatments, relaxing, sports and holistic massages, and customised wellness programmes (services subject to charge and available from Monday to Sunday).

Family

The Serenusa Resort takes care of its youngest guests, with games, spaces and activities dedicated to each age group, for a holiday full of fun, creativity and sport, but with full consideration for parents' safety and relaxation.

At Serenino Club, SereninoPiù Club, SerenUp and SerenHappy, children and teens will be entrusted to a highly qualified entertainment staff, who will propose a rich programme of games, sports, leisure and recreational activities. All services are designed, structured and segmented according to age groups:

• Serenino Club: 3 - 5 years
• SereninoPiù Club: 6 - 10 years old
• SerenUp: 11 - 14 years
• SerenHappy: 14 - 17 years old

Baby Kitchen: dedicated to parents (with tables, chairs and highchairs) for the feeding of babies 0-3 years old, with assistance and availability of basic products during main mealtimes: vegetable and meat broths, vegetable puree, noodles, meat slices, fish fillets, boiled ham, dairy products, fresh fruit, fresh milk, soya milk, rice milk, lactose-free milk, yoghurt, jams, tea and camomile tea, biscuits. Homogenised baby food, cheese and milk for infants, both liquid and powdered, are not available. It will also be possible to heat milk and baby food, sterilise, blend, homogenise. It is accessible from 06:00 to 00:00, during closing times you can contact reception.

Serenino Club - Mini Club for children from 3 to 5 years old

Qualified assistance, exclusive, safe, colourful and child-friendly environments, for a holiday with lots of sea, games, sports and creative workshops.

SereninoPiù Club - Mini Club for children from 6 to 10 years old

All the activities at the SereninoPiù Club are designed for the enjoyment of older children and, in addition to the Serenino, offers numerous activities in the name of creativity.

SerenUp - Teeny Club for 11 to 14 year olds

Sea, sport, music, challenges, workshops, for a holiday full of new stimuli and excitement, together with lots of new friends, parties and games.

SerenHappy - Junior Club for 14-17 year olds

In addition to sea and sport, the SerenHappy juniors have a packed programme of activities.

Medical care: Doctor resident in the resort and on call 24 hours a day. Medical practice open at set times, morning and afternoon, with free examinations. Visits are chargeable at other times and outside the doctor's office.

Restaurant

The restaurants, completely renovated in 2023, offer rich, varied and high-quality culinary proposals for a holiday of taste and comfort. 

At the Serenusa Resort, there is a central 'Il Patio' restaurant with air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor shaded area, free of charge and bookable upon confirmation. It is also possible to choose, subject to availability, themed restaurants other than the central one, all free of charge:

the gourmet restaurant 'Il Gusto' (table service) and the restaurant 'Le Onde' (buffet service).

Sea Box: For those who prefer to have lunch under the beach umbrella, the Sea Box is available free of charge for consumption on the beach.

Bluserena Full Board: Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with show cooking at the central restaurant, draught wine and microfiltered water included. One access per week, per restaurant, at Il Gusto e Le Onde; Sea Box to be consumed on the beach area; animator-assisted lunch for children and teenagers. On the beach, one assigned beach umbrella with two sun loungers (the umbrellas in the first three rows are larger and have a safe). Use of Baby Kitchen. The Smart card must be used for consumptions on payment.

Pensione Extra: In addition to the services of the Pensione Più, at the Bar: cafeteria, soft drinks, draught beer, fruit juices (in 20 cl. glasses), syrups, slushies, selection of national and international spirits and liqueurs, aperitifs and, from 19:30, selection of cocktails. During meals, beer, orangeade and coca cola on tap in 20 cl glasses. Two accesses per week, per restaurant, at Il Gusto and Le Onde. Beach towel from 12 years of age.

Jolly Formula: Unlimited access, subject to reservation, at the gourmet restaurant Il Gusto, with table service, and the Le Onde restaurant, with buffet service, open at least 6 days a week, bookable from 10.06 to 08.09.2024. For customers in the Jolly Formula, the thematic restaurants can be booked from 48 hours before the meal.

Reservations for the Sea Box and other resort restaurants must be made for the entire room and not for individual members. 

Food intolerances

Bluserena pays special attention to the well-being of guests both in the offer and in the correct information on allergens for each dish offered. Due to the size and organisation of the kitchens it is not possible to offer customisation of the dishes to suit individual allergies, but in all the central restaurants a basic assortment of gluten-free, lactose-free and egg-free food is guaranteed (although it must be emphasised that it is not possible to guarantee, due to the structural characteristics of the kitchens, the absolute absence of contamination for any type of intolerance, except for packaged products).

Sport

The Serenusa Resort offers many opportunities for a sports, fitness and wellness holiday. For fitness enthusiasts, in addition to the modern fitness area with assistance from qualified instructors at scheduled times, equipped with isotonic machines, dumbbells, walking mat, spinning bikes, balance boards, strength development ropes and group gymnastics, there are many other activities: Yoga, Zumba, Tai chi Stretch (new 2024), Acquagym, Nordic Walking, Latin fitness (new 2024), dance and aerobic gymnastics, jump fitness and trampoline. Sailing and windsurfing boats (except during course times), canoes, pedal boats, paddle surfing, beach tennis, beach volleyball and Bluserena SeaSport services (some for a fee) are available on the beach. Rules: Cycling is only allowed for children up to 6 years old. It is not permitted with motorised or electric vehicles. There are no individual escort services. Decent dress is required indoors (no swimming costumes, bare feet or shirts).
