Location

A few kilometres from Trapani, in western Sicily, the Baglio Sorìa Resort & Wine Experience stands on a hill overlooking the Trapani coast. On one side is the view of the Stagnone of Marsala, the salt pans of Trapani and Paceco and Mount Erice with its medieval village, and on the other the sea and the Egadi Islands.

The port of Trapani is just 12 km away and the airport of Trapani is approximately 20 km away. Palermo airport is about 83 km away.

Hotel

Baglio Sorìa Resort & Wine Experience is a little gem, an ancient 17th-century structure that was once the hub of rural activities and ancient trades. A refined yet authentic place, the charm of country style revisited in a modern key. It stands on a hill overlooking the landscape, an enchanting setting where the blue of the sea blends with the hilly landscape, among vineyards and centuries-old olive trees, flights of flamingos and storks. In the background, Trapani and the Egadi Islands, the nature reserve of the salt pans and the medieval town of Erice. A 110-hectare farm estate where the Di Gaetano family's dream began in the 1980s: the recovery of rural structures, the planting of vineyards and the cultivation of olive trees. A charming hotel where the combination of wine, conviviality and Sicilian hospitality create a unique experience.

Rooms

White stone, wood and ancient restored artefacts, the 16 rooms of Baglio Sorìa Resort & Wine Experience are the result of a faithful restoration, the charm of an ancient baglio combined with the comfort of a modern charming hotel. Elegant, comfortable and cosy, they are immersed in the green countryside and enjoy a spectacular view. Guests have access to a mini-bar, courtesy kit and beach towel for a swim in the outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards.

Restaurant

History and tradition come together in the gourmet proposal of the Baglio Sorìa Resort & Wine Experience restaurant.

The precious food and wine heritage of Sicilian cuisine is found in every dish, along with the typical hospitality of the sunny island. The products from sea and land, the aromas and flavours of Sicily, are creatively blended to enhance the freshness of local produce. A strong cultural identity is always present in Sicilian cuisine, authentic flavours that delight and surprise the most demanding palates.

In the Sky Lounge belvedere, the exclusive Wine Bar Trapani offers spectacular sunsets and a breathtaking view: a magical atmosphere, ideal for sipping an aperitif or a glass of wine, in an exclusive environment with attention to every detail.
